Sore Throat

Sore throats are inflammation caused by infections such as the cold or the flu. Typical symptoms are scratchiness, difficult or painful swallowing and swollen tonsils.

Urgent Care:

-If your sore throat doesn’t start to feel better within 2-5 days, an urgent care center can swab your throat and give you the proper diagnosis and prescribe antibiotics if necessary.

Emergency Room:

-You should consider going to the Emergency Room for your sore throat if it is causing you to feel as though you can’t get air.

Still not sure where to go? Call and talk to one of our Registered Nurses at (208) 620-5300.
